Corporate Events in Sydney

with actually delicious food

A candle-lit dining room, a private stage room and a courtyard, ten minutes' walk from the ICC. Companies have been bringing their teams here for twenty years, and a good few of them come back every quarter.

Send us a date and a rough number, and leave the rest with us.

Go here for the service as much as the food.

Time Out Sydney

One person to deal with, start to finish

Blue Eye Dragon is owner-run. Muriel, who founded it twenty years ago, still reads every enquiry herself, and more often than not she's the one at the door on the night. There's no bookings desk between you and the people who will actually look after your event.

The rest is what we've been doing for two decades: per-head banquets so the budget is known before anyone sits down, dietaries handled with a week's notice, one quote and one invoice.

What companies book here

Companies have been bringing their teams here for twenty years. Most of it falls into five buckets:

  • Work Christmas parties. November and December book out from the Thursdays first, so if a date is on your radar, hold it now and sort the names later. A banquet that keeps coming, a room that feels like yours, and nothing for the organiser to do on the night except enjoy it. Whole restaurant on Sundays and Mondays for larger teams.

  • Team lunches and dinners. Ten to fifty around one long table, or the Stage Room to yourselves. Weekday lunches run quick and quiet when people need to be back by three.

  • Client dinners. The candle-lit room the reviews talk about, a banquet that does the talking for you, and a bottle you chose.

  • Planning days and off-sites. The Stage Room for the morning, a long lunch in the courtyard, back to it after. Ask about weekday daytime hire.

  • Milestones and farewells. Twenty years, a retirement, a team that hit the number. Whole restaurant if you want it: 100 seated, 140 standing.

“Muriel and the team are incredibly easy to work with - responsive, flexible, and genuinely invested in making every event a success…

The food is exceptional, the service is next level, and our guests always leave with wonderful feedback.

I couldn't recommend Blue Eye Dragon more highly for both corporate and private events.”
